"Go to the deepest depths, and then go further. Inhale. Exhale. Begin again."

always hidden, never seen
Too often, it's easy to want to be both anonymous and seen. To want change without the unknown. To want depth or meaning without being willing to actually be vulnerable.

And that's how depth, change, and being seen don't happen. They get smothered in the skepticism, the smartness, the need for certainty.

The whole point of this space is to break away from that. No performing. Just being. In a direct and personal way.

This October, it becomes real. Because while this format sparks moments of depth, this October is an opportunity to go deeper than newsletters can.

Where you can ask the questions you can't type, say the things that feel too raw to write, and get specific guidance for your actual situation.

Today, I want to share with you what it is, who it’s for, and what it isn’t.

We got around 10 applications this week for the 5 available spots. We start selecting this weekend, so if you've been hesitating, now's the time. Applications close Monday night, and then that’s it.

Don’t let this go, too.

What this is and who it’s for
A cozy corner
The Grove Sessions are three things in one:

A Lifepunk in-person talk series, an intimate gathering, and a weekend escape.

Think: personal guidance meets existential depth meets practical frameworks for actually changing your life.

The vibe: book club meets (non-alcoholic) speakeasy.

Literally – this newsletter comes alive.

It's not a retreat. It’s not a workshop.

It is a fundamentally personal experience: While others will be there, this is about you getting clarity, perspective, and guidance.

Five people, five different situations, one weekend to get clear on what's next. The group is the context, not the point.

This is for people who think deeply but feel stuck.

It’s for people who did everything 'right' and it feels completely wrong. For those who chose the safe path and now feel trapped by their own good decisions. Who moved back home at 24 because starting over felt more honest than continuing.

It's also for those in helping professions who pour everything into others but can't fill themselves. For those who never fit - not in their family, not in the mainstream, not even in alternative spaces that promised belonging.

For those who chose passion over safety and still feel empty, or who chose practicality over the PhD but still hunger for ideas that matter.

And yes, it’s for students watching debt pile up while everyone asks about their five-year plan. For recent grads who entered the 'real world' and found it broken. Who realized the entire path is wrong.

This is for you if you’ve been feeling disconnected from or overwhelmed by everything, or have been needing deeper connection than what’s typically found in our performative world.

We'll spend the weekend in deep conversation, reflecting on cultural sites, and exploring tangible ways to live differently.

If you've perfected the art of succeeding at things you hate, maybe it's time to be messy at something that matters.

What this isn’t

I think sometimes, when people hear “depth” or “spiritual” they expect the same recycled frameworks they see everywhere, superficial love and light, or new-age commodification.

But can we be real for a second? If you’re a part of this space, when have you ever heard that from me? Knowing what I’m about, why would you expect to?

The truth is, this is the least weird space you will ever encounter.

It’s for Sociology majors who understand it’s not always about theory, and environmental scientists who think about health and people, and not just numbers.

For those who chose tech or accounting or whatever was supposed to be “the safe option,” and those chasing what they've yet to find.

Essentially, for people in their 20s who can’t ignore where we are in the world, or where they are in their lives. I’ll share more about that in person.

Because the reality is, we're not going to transcend or validate or scroll our way out of this.

We're going to be honest about what's broken and why choosing differently isn't crazy - it's necessary. It’s part of how to change.

And it's the deeper, realer side of spiritual.

Something you'll notice
There's an application for this thing. An application that starts simple - on purpose.

If you freeze at the warm-up questions, like, 'what's your animal familiar,' notice that. That's perfectionism, cynicism, overthinking trying to protect you from being seen. Pick the first animal that comes to mind and keep going.

Then it gets deeper. And that deeper is part of the experience. It's not 'can I write the right thing'it's can I stop thinking and just write.

It's not a test. It's a step. Toward the water.

The weekend itself? That's another step. The stakes are low, but the opportunity is high. So, make sure you don't miss it for the wrong reasons.

After, if it feels right, if you want more, there will be more opportunities to gather on an ongoing basis.

If you don’t, you’ll go home with a little more perspective and support. The Grove Sessions are the low-stakes way to decide.

It's not every day you get an invitation like this.

But the thing is: Your 20s happen once. Life shifts with little decisions, experiences, connections. And this is not an everyday time.

At some point, transformation requires being witnessed. It requires showing up as yourself, even if that self is messy and uncertain. For those who do – we will meet you there. This is a space where if you take the dive, you’ll be supported.

If it calls you, see you there.

in truth & bravery,
Pedro
